The Hackathon took place in March and was followed up with 2 month incubation period, the selected winner was announced in the closing ceremony on Wednesday 22nd June. Our winner Rafiqi is a platform that aims to improve Egyptian cancer patients' and their families' quality of life. We are working on a platform that assists patients through their day-to-day battles with cancer through our proven and tested four pillars of support: medical, social, mental, and personal autonomy; moreover, Rafiqi acts as their companion (رفيق) and gives them unique access to a community of individuals going through the same struggles as them.
We are very proud of all the particpants and our winners for their hardwork and dedication.
